Kantronics' paging controllers collect incoming page requests, encode paging messages, and schedule outgoing pages for efficient use of valuable link and airtime. Kantronics controller firmware is upgradeable, keeping you up-to-date with evolving standards such as Golay, POCSAG, PURC™, and FLEX™. In some cases you can upgrade the firmware remotely.
Kantronics' timing equipment provides solid time references for complex paging applications requiring multiple transmitters, simulcasting, or sophisticated scheduling algorithms.
All models in the Kantronics paging equipment line are compact, low power, and rack mountable.
The FC-2000 Paging Controller
The current paging equipment offerings start with the FC-2000, the replacement controller for the KPC-2000. Enhanced hardware and future upgrades are a few of the many changes in this new design. Backwards-compatible with the KPC-2000, the FC-2000 encodes Golay, POCSAG (512,1200,2400) and is now compatible in Purc™ systems (optional). The FC-2000 can be upgraded to the functionality of the FC-2500 and beyond.
The FC-2500 Paging Controller
The FC-2500 builds on the functionality of the FC-2000, increasing its possible protocols to include 1600 BPS FLEX™ . A Purc™ option is also available. The FC-2500 can be upgraded to the functionality of the FC-3000.
The FC-3000 Paging Controller
Top of line in the FC series, the FC-3000 is capable of encoding Golay, POCSAG, and 2 & 4 level FLEX™. Some upgrades may be accomplished remotely.
The TG-1000 Time Gate Controller
The TG-1000 Time Gate Controller provides accurate timing for sets of remote transmitter controllers running 2 & 4 Level FLEX™ Protocols. One TG-1000 is necessary at the teleport site.
